2022 was our first year of seriously hatching ducklings - In 2021 we started, but really were only doing it for fun. ‘22 on the other hand I had a goal. Granted it was a small goal to hatch 150 ducklings/goslings before the season ended. Trust me - this number is a joke to many of my friends in the community, but it was a goal I set. We came close with 130+ birds, and certainly could have made up the rest, but this hatching season is also when we were finalizing the house and the new farm. I decided to cut our hatching season short because the last thing I wanted was to be moving incubators full of eggs or birds that still needed to be on heat. PLUS we were raising all the birds inside our old house and let me tell you… that’s a mess. Anyway - you want cute duckling pictures, so here they are.
